Karis Rovillos

Music Therapist

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in music therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University. I completed my internship in long term care at Mount Hope in London, Ontario. My clinical experience includes long term care, palliative care, eating disorders, mental health, kids and adults with developmental disabilities as well as kids with autism and brain damage. I am very client centred and will show patience, the utmost care for others, and a love for music. I love connecting with others through music and creating that space where one can feel safe to be creative and heard. My main instrument that I use for music therapy is guitar and voice but I enjoy utilizing my violin as well as I am classically trained.
