Music Therapist

Jane’s love for music began when she had her first interaction with a piano at the age of three. Guided by her belief that music is a universal language, she pursued a career to facilitate music as a method of communication and expression. This led her to the field of Music Therapy. She graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Music Therapy (BMT) with Internship, a Minor in Psychology, and is a Certified Music Therapist (MTA). Jane also received her Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT) certification from The Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy.

Jane’s clinical experience includes working with individuals in geriatric care, rehabilitation hospital patients, and individuals with special needs. She enjoys creating ways for individuals to discover and find their voice through music. She firmly believes that music enables people to express feelings, regardless of any musical background.
